  • Preliminary color layouts :
    I lay out the color palette (and possibly color bars) while meeting with the director on the moods to be conveyed.
    Then I quickly thumbnail color boards based on key moments in the film's animatic.
  • The final boards are a result of iterative tweaking and adjusting colors while figuring out light placement.
